I first want to let you know the importance of networking, and how it’s vital to your sales career. Fortunately everybody knows they have to network, but unfortunately they’re only 20% of sales people doing the networking they need to do. Well I have something to tell everyone

YOU ARE IN THE PEOPLE BUSINESS.

With out people your sales career will not last long.

Here is a short story about a real estate agent networking no matter what. I was speaking in Nashville, TN at a Era realty, and I met a guy name John. John just had knee surgery a week before I came to speak. So John told me the story of when he had knee surgery. This is his story.

“Rich I was in the hospital and the nurse that was giving me the anesthesia was telling me about her. Her husband had been downsized 3 times in 8 years, and they were living in an apartment in Nashville. Well being a realtor and a sale professional I took it upon myself to find a solution to her problem. I offered my card and told her that I could help her turn her from a renter to an investor.”

That’s a great example of networking no matter what. Everybody knows the ABC’s always be closing, you the way you get to the close is to always be networking.
